Polhawn Fort has so many advantages over conventional venues: if you are having a civil partnership marriage, or you want somewhere to celebrate a wedding in a different culture, or in an unconventional manner (in a circle on the beach for example), Polhawn Fort is delightfully private and exclusive to yourselves.

If you are having a church wedding at one of our beautiful local churches (the nearest is lit by candles and has a manual pumped organ in the loft), you will love the return through the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that surrounds us, before descending our long private drive with its tantalizing glimpses of the sea. Or how about arriving by helicopter?

There are no restrictions on how you organise your time at the Fort, and so many of our hundreds of celebrating couples have taken advantage of their longer time here to have a follow up barbeque or gathering.
