The Garden House, opening out onto sweeping lawns and a breathtaking seascape, is also licensed for wedding ceremonies.

As your guests smile encouragingly from the lawn, you can get married in full view of all the most exhilarating sights that nature can provide, accompanied by the sound of waves on the beach below, the call of sea birds, and soothing breezes in the tall surrounding trees.

Many brides and their grooms steal down to the beach after the ceremony for a frolic at the water's edge (and sometimes into it), while their guests look down from our gardens above, or even roll up their trousers and finery and join in.

The grounds between the Fort and the sea are very spacious, with plenty of room for reception drinks, photos, fun and games, and also to put up a marquee or two, or even three. A covered way can be put up from the Fort to the garden, and even an open-sided marquee sited directly onto the Summer House.

Cream teas on the lawns at Christmas! Winters in Cornwall are famously mild (we sort of remember it snowed once years ago), and winter weddings are amongst our most popular bookings.
